Update Notice: Beginning with Issue 20 (July–December 2026), the contents of Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables are published under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial) license. Previous issues remain subject to the licensing terms under which they were originally published.

Open Access Policy:

Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables is committed to an open access policy, providing immediate, permanent, and unrestricted access to all its contents. All published articles are freely available online and may be read, downloaded, consulted, and shared without charge or embargo by any user.

Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, copyediting, editing, publication, or distribution of articles. Likewise, the journal does not provide financial compensation to authors for published contributions.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial) license.

Under this license, users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of the articles published in this journal, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors, the original source of publication is properly cited and the material is not used for commercial purposes.

Licensing History

The journal Vivienda y Comunidades Sustentables has published its content under Creative Commons licenses since Issue No. 7 (January–June 2020).

From Issue No. 7 through Issue No. 19, the content was published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

Starting with Issue No. 20, the journal adopted the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
